We are pleased to announce that Otto ‘pannari‘ Heikkinen has signed with NYYRIKKI to our Rainbow Six: Siege roster.

The move comes as Oskari ‘OSKAMOSKA‘ Huikko has decided to take a step back from the active roster where he will stay as our official substitute.

For the people outside of the Rainbow Six: Siege scene, pannari is one of the most successful and proven players in the Finnish scene. He catapulted himself to stardom in former professional teams, both Finnish and International where he achieved the following:

1st – Pro League Year 2 Season 3
1st – Nordic Championship Season 1
2nd – Nordic Championship Season 2
5-8th – Six Invitational 2018

NYYRIKKI R6S Manager Atte Virtanen had this to say:

“Changes to Oska’s personal life meant that he was unable to provide the dedication that he felt was necessary for the team, so he decided to move to substitute when we had found a worthy player for the lineup. This is one of the heaviest steps we’ve taken in a long time. Oska is one of the original members of the group, who has been around for years. We respect his thoroughly thought decision of taking some time off and we’ve couldn’t be more thankful for his contribution in the team’s growth so far.
The decision to go for Pannari was made mostly due to 2 reasons; us knowing him as a player already throughout his career in Siege, and after a few practices he adapted very well in the team. It was a smooth transition, to say the least. We’ve always had one rule with roster changes: never settle. Thankfully, Pannari is bringing a lot of expertise from the highest level of competitive Siege. We are excited to work with him and would like to give him the warmest welcome to our family.”

Otto ‘pannari‘ Heikkinen had this to say regarding signing for NYYRIKKI:

“I’m excited to work with NYYRIKKI and to join full Finnish roster once again. Transition to new team and new playstyle has been very smooth and everything is looking very promising for the future. I want to get Back on top of the competition and I believe with this team we can achieve that but first we need to qualify for next challenger league season.”
